1834. SOBRE. Frontal de Certificado de VITORIA a SAN SEBASTIAN (dirigida a un soldado de la Brigada de Artillería del General Lacy Evans, perteneciente a la Legión Auxiliar Británica). Marca manuscrita "Certifº a Vitoria, sale en 27 Agosto de 1836" y marca FRANCO / VITORIA, en rojo (P.E.26) edición 2004, diversas tomas de razón en Haro, Logroño, Tudela y Zaragoza, el desvío de las habituales rutas de postas es obligado para evitar el asalto de los carlistas a los correos, Nº de Certificado 466, anotación del coste por Vicente Otadui "Conforme pagó 4 reales por derechos de certificado y 20 maravedíes", firma del destinatario al dorso. MAGNIFICA Y EXTREMADAMENTE RARA, UNICO CERTIFICADO CONOCIDO DE LA LEGION BRITANICA EN ESPAÑA, PIEZA DE ENORME INTERES.
