From 1955 (approx.), USA, USSR et al. To the much celebrated anniversary "50 YEARS OF MOON LANDING" we offer here a great stock of covers and stamps on the subject of SPACE TRAVEL, as it is offered in this quality and abundance only rarely. This stock contains such an abundance of good and very good items, that only a small selection can be listed here: 2 different covers with the original signatures of the Apollo 11 crew (Armstrong, Aldrin, Collins), 1 picture postcard with the original signatures of Armstrong and Aldrin and 1 photo card from the visit of Armstrong/Aldrin to German Federal President Heinemann (original signatures, also Heinemann) as well as further 4 covers with the original signatures of the crews of Apollo 15, 17, Skylab 4 and ASTP and 49 covers with original signatures of individual astronauts from Mercury 6 to Skylab 2, Space Shuttle and ASTP. Not to forget several covers with original signatures of Russian cosmonauts, including Gagarin (Vostok 1), Komarov/Jegerov/Feokistikov (Vosshod 1), Beljaev/Leonov (Vosshod 2) as well as another 44 covers with original signatures (some verified by Sieger). Further contained in the stock are well over a thousand covers from various areas and nations (launch, flown, recover, and others), a very big lot of them with original signatures but also autopens. For instance USA with good Spacecraft covers, Skylab, Apollo 7 to 17 (also salvage fleets, control stations, etc.), USSR with covers from all early projects Wostok 1 to 6, Soyuz from #1 etc., Australia also with good ELDO, some covers Japan, China and India, and of course Europe is also represented. In addition, there are various items with evidence of test and training flights (X-15, F-111), Viking Parachute Test, observatories and control stations (many pieces with original signatures), rocket mail Germany (Zucker/Nebel) as well as other rocket mail, also some nice gimmicks such as a Lunaphone record with the original recordings of Armstrong and Aldrin on the moon, dozens of original NASA photos (approx. 20x25 cm) with astronaut portraits and mission topics, partly with personal dedications to the collector. And also the suitable literature is not missing with various catalogues and brochures, among them Astrophil autograph catalogue with 16 pages of samples for autopen signatures. Of course there are also many stamps and souvenir sheets and a complete sheet (left pane) of Scott #1434/35 (Michel #1046/47) with original signature of Scott and Irwin on the left margin, verified by F.
