1931 SURCHARGES - SPECIALISED COLLECTION. A wonderful olde tyme collection on album pages with many specialized notations indicating plate flaws and other things, also many lovely blocks and larger incl Mullet & Ash imprints etc, the best is probably a complete sheet (40) 2d on 1½d Mullet printings with "Postace" at position 1/1 (SG 121/a, cat £618 as single stamps), also imprint blocks 6 with different states of the central vignettes identified, other multiples include 'retouched rift' and items positioned using plate flaws, also duplication. Almost entirely mint and all fresh appearing throughout although the usual range of white to tropical gum is to be expected.
