The following is a brief introduction to the stamps designs:
(1)Hsi Hsiang Chi: The setting is a night lit by a full moon. Chang Shen is playing a musical instrument in his library, expressing his love for Tsuei Ying-ying. Under the trees outside his room, Hong Niang is talking Ying-ying into approaching Changs room to listen to his playing.
(2)Dan Daw Huei The design depicts Kuan Gung, holding his huge long knife, standing erect on a ferry boat crossing the river, to meet his enemy in a dinner party, displaying his bravery and righteousness.
(3)Han Guong Chiou: The design depicts the scene in which Wang Chao-jiun is unwillingly leaving her country, with the Emperor Han Yuan Di coming to Bachiau to see her off.
(4)Wu Tonq Yu :The design depicts Emperor Tang Ming Huang, in his palace, listeninq to the sound of falling rain, thinking about Yang Kuei-fei, his beloved concubine who died at Makueibo.
