Ninoshima, 1919, envelope used "Ujina 8.10.28" (Oct. 28, 1919) to Landgraf/Tokyo with large red camp seal, han of censor and boxed destination mark "Tokyo", with contents letter of, Envelope some thins/gum on reverse from archiving. Inc. contents and sketch of life by Hermann Henssler (1883-, wrote himself "Henßler") , brewmaster of Tsingtao beer brewery. Joined in 1906 as 2nd brewmaster (Kellermeister) and in 1909 became 1st brewmaster (Brauführer) and technical director at Tsingtao beer. By 1915.9.- he was deported to Japan. Dec. 1919 released returned to Germany, as brewmaster in China 1922-25 (Pa Wangsze Brewery Co. Ltd. in Mukden/Manchuria) , in 1926 returned and brewmaster in Hamburg, then emigrated to Argentine and was last recorded resident in Buenos Aires.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
